Celebrate Your Successes!

Do you celebrate your success – as you experience it? I’ve noticed a recurring theme with many of my clients. They are typically very hard workers – really willing to do whatever it takes to get the life they want, the live out their purpose(s). And I am always reminding them to stop, take a . . . → Read More: Celebrate Your Success – Celebrate All Your Successes

Stabilize your Core

In working with my clients – and looking at my own inner workings – I have developed this theory that we all have a set of things – that make up our core – or our foundation. These are those things or areas of our life that provide us with a sense of security, safety, . . . → Read More: Stabilize your Core

My favorite exercise – designing your Ideal Day

This is excerpted from my free report: Five Days to Goals That Inspire You, and inspired from many sources (including, in no particular order, Barbara Sher, Paul McKenna, Jennifer Louden, Sarah Ban Breathnach, and Martha Beck).

Start by imagining your Ideal Day. Set aside an hour and allow yourself to daydream. Imagine what one . . . → Read More: My favorite exercise – designing your Ideal Day

Week 5 of Enjoying and Appreciating Life As It Is

This week’s tip is a quick one. Take 10 minutes and spend it petting or playing with your cat or dog. I’m a huge fan of this form of “fur therapy” in cold winter months and in stressful times. Nothing compares to the love and affection of a pet. If you don’t have pets – . . . → Read More: Week 5 of Enjoying and Appreciating Life As It Is

Week 2 of Enjoying and Appreciating Life As It Is

Thanksgiving is behind us here in the US. And the holiday shopping frenzy is ramping up. It can be easy to forget what giving really is. It can also be easy to think we have too little to offer. So here’s this week’s suggestion.

Client Stories

I was looking to make large changes in my life, both job and city.  I was a happy midwestern resident for nearly 30 years but wanted to see what life on a coast was like and get a dream job.  This was a tall order and going into it I thought I would have to make large compromises on parts of my dreams to get any of it.

I went to Lori to help me achieve these dreams.  It was the best decision I made.

She focused on two things right out of the gate:
  1. clarify my goals, both personal and professional
  2. get me to stop selling myself short

These twin achievements allowed me to approach my hunt with confidence, patience and focus.  My original dream job was to try and combine my technical joys with a personal one.  I enjoy large scale data processing with cutting edge tools, music and baseball.  Through the tools Lori taught me and helped me unearth in myself I got that gig that would have fallen into day dream territory before our work together.

And yeah, there's platinum records on the walls of my lobby and I have tons of data to process.
